Melody Thomas Scott (born Melody Ann Thomas, April 18, )[1] is an American actress. She began her career as a child actress appearing in the psychological thriller film, Marnie. She later appeared in films The Beguiled (), Posse (), The Shootist (), The Car (), The Fury () and Piranha (). In she began starring as Nikki Newman on the CBS daytime soap opera, The Young and the Restless.[2]

Melody Ann Thomas was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, on April 18, She began acting at the tender age of three. Appeared in multiple commercials before landing a national commercial for Kelloggs Rice Krispies at the age of six.
Scott made her big-screen debut as young Marnie in Alfred Hitchcock’s movie of the same name in
Melody’s childhood was filled with acting, dancing, and singing lessons, theatre productions through the Hollywood Children’s Theater, and Three Arts Studio and work.
