    Siôn Daniel Young is a Welsh stage, television and film actor.

    Early life

    Born in Cardiff, Young began performing at a Welsh language festival in Cardiff called Eisteddfod in which he described "schools actively encourage their pupils to perform, be it music, singing or acting".[1] He trained as an actor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.[2]

    His first professional role was appearing in Daf James play Llwyth (Tribe), which was the first play about gay characters written by a queer person on a Welsh-language stage. He played the role of Albert Narracott in War Horse at the Royal National Theatre, London in [3][2][1]

    In , he had the lead role of Christopher Boone in the stage play adaptation of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at the Gielgud Theatre in London.[4]

    Sion Daniel ung is one half of the gay Welsh couple in the BBC’s new queer adoption drama,Lost Boys and Fairies.

    The year-old actor plays Gabriel in the new three-part drama, he’s a singer and performance artist extraordinaire.

    Gabriel has been with his partner Andy (played bygd out gay Irish actor Fra Fee) for eight years and they both are ready to become fathers and adopt a child. However, they must first prove to their social worker, Jackie (Elizabeth Berrington), that they are ready.
