    Actor Ekta Kaul has quit her hit show Mere Angne Mein. The actor confirmed the news, saying she was leaving the show “owing to good personal reasons”.

    Bad news for Ekta Kaul fans: The popular TV actor has quit her hit show Mere Angne Mein. She rose to popularity with Rab Se Sohna Ishq on Zee TV.

    Ekta played the role of Riya Mathur on the Star Plus show. Reports say that she is now serving her notice period.

    “Ekta has already put in her papers and she will wind up her shoot in the last week of February,” Tellychakkar.com reported.

    The actor also confirmed the news when the online portal contacted her. “Yes, I am quitting the show owing to good personal reasons,” she said.

    Makers will reportedly kill Ekta’s character when she will deliver a baby on the show.

    Ekta Kaul was born in Srinagar, Kashmir in India. She completed her graduation in biotechnology and went on to get an MBA. She was working with Nestle for a while, and whilst she was posted in Mumbai, she started to dabble in acting.
