Massachusetts-born artist Jason Jägel has captured elusive rapper and producer, MF DOOM, on canvas for his latest exhibition. To take place at LA’s Rappcats space on Saturday, June 20, “The Doomsday Show” features paintings and prints of Daniel Dumile’s alter ego in various pop-art styles. Jägel, who previously collaborated with Juxtapoz magazine on a special Madlib cover, will be selling limited-edition Hoecakes prints, MF DOOM Operation Doomsday lunch boxes and T-shirts. These three contemporary accounts, define figurative painting today.
